Let’s say that you own a ladies clothing store. You know that more people are working from home, so how have you adjusted your inventory to reflect this? You also know that some people have lost their jobs, so how does your price range reflect this? Most of your sales where the result of walk-in traffic, which has dropped, so how do you attract customers?
As we discussed earlier, it is easy to see the challenges. So, let’s pause for a moment and spend some time looking for the opportunities.
Have you considered including fashionable home wear in your product offering, reducing the price range, having an online presence, building an email client base, organizing online fashion shows, etc.? To boost sales, we need to be creative.
On the other hand, don’t forget to look at your costs. So, shop around and negotiate!
To succeed in business, we need to adopt a mindset that helps us to see the opportunities, and not just the challenges. So, put on your rose coloured glasses, and see the world in a different light.
